World-building in Building Thunder #3 - Dirty Battle Tactics
Brackenbird of ThunderClan displays a blade crafted from the sharpened antler tine of a red deer.
A kittypet should join the clans and use the words "cousin" and "grandparent" so they can stop writing clunky shit like "mother's mother" and "kit of my father's sister"
Along with being more consistent about how much these sorts of relationships matter. And they should because its more fun that way.
spottyissleepy asked:
Anything more you can share about the Clans' religion? Do each of them worship separate gods... Do they each have differing views on each god... Do they have specific worship practices... Things of that sort! ^^
loveisafire-warriors answered:
of course!!!
Each clan has their own separate beliefs in the gods that run the world, but they all agree that the others from separate clans exist as well. they’ve just come to accept that they believe in different things in the same world, that’s all there is to it.
now, i’m gonna put the clans gods and worshipping practices under the cut, bc it’ll probably get long
THUNDERCLAN
You know what would be neat? Choosing Mentors for apprentices getting turned into a political game.
A Mentor will almost always fundamentally shape an Apprentices world view and more likely then not, create a bond between them. Every apprentice is a new potential ally and a cat on your side for a bid for the deputyship.
Connections aren't only between families and bloodlines (Maybe those will even be deprioritized by the clan structure) but between who mentored who.
Maybe warriors are almost expected to support their former mentors when it comes to politics.
Warriors will want to be assigned kits that are deemed to have talent, not only for the credit and the opportunity to watch them grow, but because if they do end up being great warriors, they can almost certainly count on their support in future attempts to climb rank.
Basically, you know what would make the Clans better, Cronyism
hmm something something wc au where rusty took the name Rustpaw bc he still cares about his friends and family back home, even tho he lives with the clans now
something something Rustfire is a rad ass warrior name
something something he goes to the Moonstone, fully ready to embrace his life as Ruststar
some something where Starclan names him Firestar, declaring him "finally free of the chains of his kittypet past"
something where Firestar Rustfire is personally betrayed by the gods he was taught to worship and trust.
this r slur revival shit is unbelievably pathetic you all look like such fucking losers to anyone with literally any moral backbone. i know you're a bunch of alienated misanthropes but you should probably dehabituate speaking like channers
